Rome Quarticciolo stabbing leaves victim in critical condition

On 20 June 2026, at about 19:30, a man was repeatedly stabbed in via Ostuni, the Quarticciolo district of Rome. Emergency services rushed the victim to the Policlinico Umberto I in code‑red; his condition was described as serious but not immediately life‑threatening.

Carabinieri of the Compagnia Roma Casilina, the Tor Tre Testi station, and the Nucleo Investigativo’s Settima Sezione arrived on scene, arrested the attacker and began forensic investigations. Police say several attackers were involved and are probing a possible link to the neighbourhood’s drug‑trafficking activity, which is known for frequent law‑enforcement operations.
