Violent attacks on families in Mexico spark public outcry

In the State of Mexico, residents of the Paseos de Chalco area allege that police officers driving a patrol vehicle in the wrong direction struck a five‑year‑old boy riding an electric bike, causing a fractured tibia and other injuries. The officers reportedly offered money to the family to avoid a formal complaint, and the victims claim the public prosecutor delayed taking their statement.
