Violent crimes and juvenile arrests reported in New York and California

Multiple violent incidents involving minors and domestic disputes have been reported across several U.S. regions.

In the Bronx, New York, 15-year-old Riley Billingslea was shot and killed in a Kingsbridge Heights apartment. A 13-year-old witness reported that a 16-year-old suspect opened fire during a dispute. This follows the recent death of 16-year-old John Núñez in the same borough.

In Orange County, California, 18-year-old Ethan Vidal was arrested by Garden Grove police following a fight with his 17-year-old girlfriend, Janely Gutiérrez. Gutiérrez died from head injuries sustained during the altercation.

In Kern County, California, three minors aged 12, 13, and 16 were charged with the murder of 53-year-old Eric Lancaster. The shooting, which occurred in Bakersfield, also wounded the victim's father, Vernon Lancaster.
