Violent crimes reported in Argentina and Guatemala

In Arrecifes, Argentina, a 69-year-old man was tied up, beaten, and robbed in his home by three individuals. The assailants stole several items, including watches, jewelry, mobile phones, and cash. Following an investigation, police arrested a 34-year-old woman at a residence in the 24 Viviendas neighborhood. A second search at another location did not lead to further arrests, and authorities are continuing their search for the remaining suspects.

In Guatemala City, two separate armed attacks occurred in Zone 7 during the early hours of Sunday. The first incident took place on 7th Avenue A, where 31-year-old Luis Alfredo Peralta López was shot in the abdomen and transported to Hospital Roosevelt. A second attack occurred at the Paraíso boarding house, resulting in the deaths of three men between the ages of 30 and 40. One additional man survived the second attack with multiple gunshot wounds and was taken to a medical center.
