Two separate violent incidents involving public transport and security personnel occurred in Dresden and Vienna.

In Dresden, a robbery escalated into a confrontation on a Line 3 streetcar at Albertplatz late Sunday night. A group of four individuals reportedly robbed a 38-year-old Venezuelan man of his bag before boarding the tram. The victim and his companions followed the group into the vehicle, leading to a struggle that left three people with non-life-threatening cutting injuries to their upper bodies. Police found significant blood traces inside the tram and at the station. Two suspects have been apprehended.

In Vienna, a 20-year-old woman caused multiple injuries at the Praterstern U1 station. According to police, the woman bit her companion in the leg and injured a Wiener Linien security employee during an intervention. When police arrived to make an arrest, the woman resisted aggressively, resulting in injuries to a police officer. Authorities seized cannabis resin at the scene, and the woman remained in custody.
