Violent incidents reported in Pennsylvania and Mallorca

In Pennsylvania, 27-year-old Metallica Rose Harrison faces two homicide charges following the deaths of her husband, Charles Harrison, and their three-year-old son. The incident occurred in a room at the Great Wolf Lodge resort in Scotrun, located in the Poconos region. Authorities responded to an emergency call from Harrison, who reported experiencing a severe emotional crisis. Upon entering the room, investigators found both the man and the child deceased from wounds caused by a sharp object. Two knives, which hotel staff stated did not belong to the establishment, were recovered at the scene. Harrison, who also sustained injuries, was treated at a hospital and is awaiting a preliminary hearing.

In Palma, Mallorca, a 61-year-old Spanish man has been arrested for the attempted murder of his 57-year-old Ukrainian wife. The suspect called emergency services claiming he had killed his wife, but police arrived to find the victim alive with a serious stab wound to the abdomen. The victim was evacuated to the intensive care unit at Son Espases Hospital. Preliminary investigations suggest the attack occurred following an argument. The suspect remains in custody as the Family and Women Unit (UFAM) continues its investigation.
