VION SKILLS program showcased at Thessaloniki International Fair

Children from Alexandroupoli and Komotini presented their experiences with the award-winning VION SKILLS program at the 90th Thessaloniki International Fair. Hosted at the Thrace Mines pavilion, the presentation focused on robotics, STEM activities, and teamwork.

The VION SKILLS program is implemented in Alexandroupoli and Komotini by the educational organization Eduact, with support from Thrace Mines. The initiative aims to provide local youth with practical experience in technology and innovation. Kostas Vasiliou, founder and President of Eduact, noted that the program teaches children to collaborate and problem-solve while providing the tools to turn ideas into physical constructions.

The program continues this year with expanded activities and plans to involve Thracian students in the international Genius Olympiad competition. VION SKILLS currently operates two robotics and technology spaces in the region.
