Vioreau Sailing Regatta Attracts Dozens of Boats in France

The six‑hour Vioreau sailing regatta took place on a Saturday in May 2026 on Lake Vioreau, organized by the Cercle de la Voile de Vioreau and hosted by the Centre Nautique Sèvre et Loire. About thirty sailboats, including the Seil Un Jour, the Libellule jaune, the Joli Môme Martine, and the moths Europe and Blaze, competed under initially calm Beaufort‑0 conditions that later gave way to light wind.

Seil Un Jour demonstrated superior use of oars and finished ahead of the other entries. The event concluded with a prize‑giving ceremony, a convivial gathering, and a traditional roasted pork meal for participants and spectators.
