Viqentijeviq brothers and Igor Dimoviq face trial for Ibër-Lepenc canal explosion

The trial of Jovan and Dragisha Viqentijeviq, along with Igor Dimoviq, is proceeding at the Basic Court in Pristina regarding the explosion at the Ibër-Lepenc canal. The incident occurred on November 29, 2024, in the village of Varagë, Zubin Potok.

According to the indictment, approximately 20 kilograms of TNT were used in the attack. The explosion damaged water supply infrastructure and posed a risk to the energy supply for the Kosovo Energy Corporation power plants. Jovan Viqentijeviq is specifically charged with espionage, with allegations that he worked for the Serbian military intelligence service to collect classified information, including a 66-page KFOR document.

Evidence presented by the prosecution includes comparative soil analysis conducted with the assistance of FBI experts, linking the defendants to the site via soil found on seized boots and nearby bridges.
