Vir Das earns third International Emmy nomination for Netflix special

Indian comedian and actor Vir Das has secured his third International Emmy Award nomination for the Netflix comedy special ‘Vir Das: Fool Volume’. This achievement makes him the first Indian performer to receive three nominations for the prestigious awards. Das previously won an International Emmy in 2023 for ‘Vir Das: Landing’ and was nominated in 2021 for ‘Vir Das: For India’.

In addition to Das’s recognition, the 2026 International Emmy nominations include the SonyLIV series ‘Real Kashmir Football Club’ in the Drama Series category. The winners for the 54th International Emmy Awards are scheduled to be announced in New York City on November 23, 2026.

On the touring front, Das is expanding his global comedy tour, ‘I Say We Run’. The tour is scheduled to perform at Radio City Music Hall in New York on January 30, 2027. The itinerary includes stops at London’s Royal Albert Hall and Dubai’s Coca-Cola Arena.
