Viral cat videos capture attention on social media

Various viral videos featuring cats have gained significant attention on social media platforms.

In one video from the YouTube channel ‘Cute kitten’, twin cats Gyu and Momo were filmed requesting water from their owner. Rather than drinking from a bowl independently, the cat Gyu sat by the sink and waited for the owner to hold a small dish of water by hand.

A video shared on X by user Mishuri features a cat named Riora demonstrating extreme flexibility by squeezing its entire body into a small goldfish bowl, a phenomenon often described online as ‘liquefying’.

On Threads, a cat named Towa was filmed attempting to drink from a running faucet but struggling to reach the water with its tongue, appearing to have difficulty with spatial awareness.

Additionally, an Instagram video from ‘kinakochannel0409’ shows a Munchkin kitten named Kinako curiously investigating a water dispenser. The kitten was filmed touching the water with its paws and reacting to the cold temperature by shaking its limbs.
