Pet stories and animal transformations go viral on social media

Various heartwarming stories involving pets have gained significant traction on social media in Japan.

A rescue cat named Chacha became a viral sensation after her owner, @KomoChibo, shared ‘before and after’ photos showing her transformation from a stray to a healthy, pampered house cat. The post highlighted the visible physical and emotional changes in the cat over less than a year. Other viral moments include two kittens, Taiyo and Natsu, who were filmed playing intensely with a piece of string from their caretaker's shorts.
