Virasoro receives 613 notebooks for students and new infrastructure
Corrientes Governor Juan Pablo Valdés led the distribution of 613 notebooks to first-year students across seven educational institutions in Virasoro as part of the 'Incluir Futuro' program. This initiative, coinciding with the city's centennial celebrations, aims to provide equal learning opportunities and integrate digital tools into the classroom.
Education Minister Ana Miño stated that this delivery ensures 100% of secondary students in Virasoro will have access to a computer. The devices include access to provincial educational platforms, Corrientes Play and EducaPlay. To expand the program's reach, the province has announced the acquisition of 10,000 additional computers for the current year.
In addition to the technology rollout, Governor Valdés and Mayor Guillermo De la Cruz inaugurated the Monumento Umbral del Centenario and a 20-block stretch of asphalt. The provincial government has also projected a larger infrastructure plan to pave 200 blocks in Virasoro and is advancing a project for a new bypass to improve local circulation.
