Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli discuss bond amid India-West Indies ODI series
Senior Indian cricketers Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli have highlighted their enduring camaraderie and mutual support during the ongoing ODI series against the West Indies. Speaking ahead of the second ODI in Guwahati, Rohit noted that despite having different batting methods, the two maintain a strong bond and regularly exchange advice to improve their respective games.
Kohli recently reached a significant milestone, becoming the second player after Sachin Tendulkar to score 15,000 ODI runs. During the first ODI in Thiruvananthapuram, Kohli scored an unbeaten 139 off 88 balls to lead India to an eight-wicket victory.
Spin bowling coach Sairaj Bahutule emphasized that the presence of both veterans provides invaluable experience and inspiration for the younger players in the dressing room. He praised Kohli’s continuous drive for improvement and fitness despite his massive career achievements.
