Virender Sehwag announces first contestants for Rise & Fall Season 2

The second season of the reality show ‘Rise & Fall’ is scheduled to premiere on September 26. Hosted by former Indian cricketer Virender Sehwag, the series will be available on Prime Video and the MX Player Android app.

Sehwag has confirmed the first four of the 15 total contestants: Swara Bhasker, Karan Patel, Shehzad Poonawalla, and Priyanka Chahar Choudhary. The remaining 11 participants have yet to be announced.

Produced by Banijay Asia and based on a UK format by Studio Lambert, the show features a hierarchy where contestants switch between ‘Ruler’ and ‘Worker’ roles. Rulers reside in a penthouse, while Workers live in a basement. The game is driven by in-game decisions and alliances rather than scripted outcomes. Sehwag replaces Ashneer Grover as the host for this season.
