Virgen de Luján statue moves at San Cayetano Sanctuary

A video of a statue of the Virgen de Luján moving without human intervention at the San Cayetano Sanctuary in the Liniers neighborhood of Buenos Aires has gone viral. Security footage from last Saturday at approximately 18:47 shows the figure, mounted on a wheeled support, sliding across the atrium toward the exit before being stopped by a passerby.

Parish officials explained the movement was caused by a strong gust of wind. Despite the physical explanation, the sanctuary community shared the footage with religious devotion, noting the timing ahead of the traditional Youth Pilgrimage to Luján.
