Virgilijus Grabinskas concludes tenure at Lithuania's Supreme Court
Judge Virgilijus Grabinskas is concluding his tenure at the Supreme Court of Lithuania, where he also served as the acting head of the Civil Cases Division. His departure follows the expiration of his term of office.
During a gathering of colleagues, employees, and former associates, Grabinskas was presented with commendations from the President of the Republic of Lithuania and the Judicial Council in recognition of his long-standing service within the national court system. Danguolė Bublienė, Chair of the Supreme Court and the Judicial Council, praised his professional experience and his contribution to the court community.
Grabinskas reflected on a career spanning 38 years, noting that he witnessed and participated in the development of Lithuania’s independent judicial system. His professional journey began in 1988 at the Klaipėda District Court and included roles at the Kaunas District Court, the Court of Appeal, and the Supreme Court.
