Virgin Atlantic and American Express roll out major travel points bonuses

Virgin Atlantic Flying Club is offering a buy‑points promotion that adds up to a 70% bonus on purchased points. The tiered bonus ranges from 20% for a purchase of 5,000 points to 70% for purchases between 125,000 and 300,000 points, and the offer runs until 7 July 2026.

American Express has introduced a 20% transfer bonus for members moving Membership Rewards points to Hilton Honors, with the promotion ending on 14 July 2026. The bonus improves the effective value of transferred points, though analysts note Hilton points retain a relatively low redemption value.
