Virgin Australia offers loyalty bonuses and cabin upgrades

Virgin Australia is offering Velocity Frequent Flyer members the choice to earn either double Status Credits or double Velocity Points on domestic, Trans-Tasman, and international short-haul flights. To qualify, passengers must register and book by October 26 for travel occurring through November 30, 2026.

Additional loyalty incentives include bonus points for specific routes, such as flights between Australia and Doha operated by Virgin Australia or Qatar Airways. The airline also features partnerships offering bonus points for Europcar rentals in Australia and New Zealand, as well as through linked DoorDash accounts.

For passenger comfort, the airline provides various seating and service options, including Economy X, which offers up to 40 per cent more legroom and priority boarding. Business Class services are available for longer routes, and single-entry lounge passes are offered for $65 to provide a quieter pre-flight environment.
