Virgin Australia targets SMEs with flexible business travel options

Virgin Australia is positioning its Business Flyer (VABF) program as a strategic tool for small and medium enterprises (SMEs) navigating rising travel costs. The airline has developed fare structures specifically designed for the flexibility required by smaller operators, such as Flex Fares that allow booking changes without penalties and the Fly Ahead service, which enables passengers to take earlier flights on the same day.

To accommodate varying budgets, the airline has also unbundled services like Wi-Fi and food, allowing businesses to pay only for the add-ons they require. The initiative aims to support SMEs that view face-to-face interaction as mission-critical for closing deals and building teams.
