Virgin Limited Edition announces luxury expansions in Switzerland and Morocco

Virgin Limited Edition, part of the Virgin Hotels Collection, has announced two major developments in its luxury hospitality portfolio involving high-end retreats in Switzerland and Morocco.

In Verbier, Switzerland, The Lodge and Cabane Tortin are launching an exclusive Alpine collaboration. This partnership offers private groups of eight to ten guests a continuous journey between a luxury chalet and a high-alpine retreat located at 3,000 metres on the Tortin Glacier. The collaboration aims to provide extended skiing access outside of standard lift operating hours, particularly during the April season.

In Morocco, Virgin Limited Edition is preparing to open a new luxury property near Marrakech in 2027. Developed in partnership with Sazanes Immobilier, the intimate hotel will feature 37 rooms and suites set within a private agricultural estate. The project will be rolled out in two phases, with the first 22 keys expected in early 2027 and the remaining 15 in early 2028. The estate will emphasize local Berber traditions and Moroccan craftsmanship, featuring organic farming, three restaurants, and various wellness and sporting facilities.
