Virgin Voyages' Valiant Lady marks five years and announces new Indian restaurant

Virgin Voyages' ship, Valiant Lady, is marking five years of service since its delivery in July 2021. The 110,000-ton vessel, which features Jennifer Lopez as its godmother and chief entertainment and lifestyle officer, has operated various itineraries across Northern Europe, the Mediterranean, and the Caribbean.

Following a scheduled dry dock in May 2026, the Valiant Lady will debut a new dining concept named Ariya. Described as a “true Indian culinary sanctuary at sea,” the restaurant is named after Sir Richard Branson’s great-great-grandmother. The venue will transform the Razzle Dazzle space into a 220-seat dining area featuring regional Indian flavors. Virgin Voyages has partnered with Chef Maneet Chauhan and Indie Culinaire to develop a menu focused on regional specialties, such as Chaat, rather than generic cuisine.
