Influencer Virginia Fonseca has drawn significant social media backlash after requesting donations from followers to assist one of her children's nannies, Jaqueline Byanca, following a devastating apartment fire in Goiânia.

The fire, which occurred on October 22, reportedly destroyed most of Byanca's belongings. While no injuries were reported, the nanny lost nearly everything she had built over several years. Initial suspicions suggest the blaze may have been caused by a mobile phone charger left in an outlet.

The request for public aid came just one day after Fonseca hosted a lavish four-year birthday party for her daughter, Maria Flor. The celebration featured a cake valued at approximately R$ 250,000, which stood over three meters tall and weighed more than one ton. Critics on social media have questioned why the wealthy influencer is seeking financial contributions from the public for her employee instead of covering the losses personally.
