Virginia Fonseca recalls late father while unveiling WePink perfume line
Influencer and entrepreneur Virginia Fonseca, 27, posted an Instagram Stories video on 28 July 2026 as part of a Father's Day perfume launch. She spoke about her father, Mario Ferrão, who died on 19 September 2021 at age 72, just three days after she inaugurated her fragrance brand WePink on 16 September 2021.
In the video she described how a particular scent reminded her of her dad, recalling that he loved perfumes and was “very fragrant even though he smoked”. She said she would “hug him every five minutes if he were alive” and lamented that he never got to see the brand’s success.
Virginia’s emotional tribute highlighted both the personal loss and the recent promotion of the WePink line, which she founded and is positioning as a growing Brazilian perfume brand.
