Willer Tomaz linked to R$ 17.7 million transfers to Virginia Fonseca's company

Investigations by the Federal Police and financial intelligence reports have revealed that AMP Pay Marketing e Negócios transferred R$ 17.7 million to Talismã Digital, a company owned by influencer Virginia Fonseca, via five Pix transactions between March and September 2024.

AMP Pay is allegedly linked to lawyer Willer Tomaz, who is under investigation for suspected money laundering and foreign exchange evasion involving betting platforms. While Tomaz reportedly identified himself as a partner of AMP Pay in a 2024 email to Magnum Bank, the company's registered owner, Guilherme Maciel, denies any relationship with him.

Santander Bank flagged the transactions as suspicious and reported them to Coaf, noting that AMP Pay is registered under the Simples Nacional regime, which is intended for businesses with annual revenues up to R$ 4.8 million. During the period of the transfers, Fonseca was promoting the betting platform Blaze.

Fonseca's legal team has denied any personal connection to Tomaz, stating she has never had contact with him and that the payments were for regularly contracted advertising campaigns. Senator Flávio Bolsonaro has defended Tomaz, describing him as a friend and claiming the investigations are politically motivated.
