Virginia football integrates Holmes and Moore into preseason

The University of Virginia football program has announced that Jacob Holmes and Cazeem Moore will be integrated into preseason activities as the team assesses their return.

Both players were members of the 2025 squad, which set a school record with 11 wins. Holmes, an interior defensive lineman who transferred from Fresno State, appeared in all 14 games last season, recording 33 tackles and three sacks. Moore, who joined the team after three seasons at East Carolina, also played in all 14 games, contributing three sacks and 18 tackles.
