Virginia will host several chili cook-offs and food festivals this fall.

Events include the Virginia Chili, Blues & Brews Festival in Waynesboro from September 11–12, featuring a pro-amateur cook-off, craft beer, and live music. In Lynchburg, the VMA State Chili Cook-Off on September 12 combines chili sampling with a car show; the winning chef will advance to a national competition in Florida.

Other scheduled festivities include the Stonebridge Fall Fest and Chili Cook-Off in Woodbridge on September 12, and the Kilmarnock Fall Festival Chili Cook-Off taking place October 10–11.
