Terry Ward, a 64-year-old man from Virginia, has been arrested and charged with felony abduction and misdemeanor assault on a family member. According to police reports, Ward allegedly used tape to bind his wife to a chair in his basement to prevent her from interrupting him while he watched Sunday Night Football upstairs.
Responding officers noted visible marks and tape impressions on the woman’s arms. The victim reported being restrained for approximately 30 to 45 minutes. Ward reportedly admitted to the police that he tied his wife up and left her downstairs during the game.
