Virginia Tech prepares for Old Dominion matchup

Virginia Tech football prepares to face Old Dominion University this Saturday at Lane Stadium. The Hokies enter the matchup with a 2-0 record, marking their first such start since 2021. Following a significant victory over VMI, the team is looking to test its offensive and defensive capabilities against a Sun Belt opponent.

As part of a long-standing tradition, the Virginia Tech Corps of Cadets will participate in the pregame ceremony. First-year cadets Hayden Sherman, Rebecca Reed, and Jacob Riddle have been selected to receive the American, Virginia state, and university spirit flags. These cadets were chosen by their company leadership for demonstrating exceptional peer mentorship, military bearing, and personal initiative.
