Virginia Tech prepares for SMU matchup following bye week

Virginia Tech is preparing for a Friday night matchup against SMU following a bye week. Head coach James Franklin and offensive line coach Matt Moore noted improved health within the offensive line, specifically expecting the return of Montavious Cunningham and Brody Meadows. Cunningham is noted for his versatility, having played both tackle and guard.

During media availabilities, Franklin also addressed the logistical challenges of traveling from Blacksburg, noting the lack of an international airport within 45 minutes of campus. He suggested that the distance to major aviation hubs can complicate travel compared to other locations.
