Virginia Tech volleyball defeats Florida State

Virginia Tech volleyball defeated Florida State 3-1 at Cassell Coliseum in Blacksburg, Virginia. The Hokies improved their record to 7-13 (4-7 ACC) following the victory.

Florida State, with an 11-10 record (5-5 ACC), saw senior outside hitter Kyleene Filimaua lead the team with 17 kills and 12 digs. Other notable performances for the Seminoles included Emma Lilo, who recorded 21 assists and 13 digs, and Maile Chan, who achieved a career-high 21 digs.

The match featured several close sets. After Virginia Tech took the first set 25-20, Florida State fought back to win a highly competitive second set 30-28. Virginia Tech secured the match in the third set.
