Virginia volleyball defeats William & Mary 3-1 at VCU Invitational

The University of Virginia volleyball team defeated William & Mary 3-1 on the opening day of the VCU Invitational at the Siegel Center in Richmond. The match results were 25-23, 15-25, 25-19, and 25-21 in favor of the Cavaliers.

William & Mary secured the second set with a dominant 8-0 run, highlighted by Katherine Arnason serving seven consecutive points. However, Virginia responded to take the third and fourth sets. For the Tribe, Audrey Brcka recorded 17.5 points and 15 kills, while Cate Hatfield contributed 41 assists and 10 digs.
