Viridiana Reséndiz and Gaby Nandez to lead improvisation workshop

Viridiana Reséndiz and Gaby Nandez will lead an ‘Improfición’ workshop during the second edition of the Feria del Libro Radiofónica, organized by the Instituto Mexicano de la Radio (IMER).

The workshop aims to use improvisation to strengthen essential life and professional skills, including active listening, acceptance, teamwork, and the ability to adapt to unexpected situations. Through various dynamics and games, participants will work on reducing the tendency to correct others' mistakes and silencing their internal self-criticism.

Gaby Nandez, an improviser and comedian, noted that improvisation trains individuals to make decisions more quickly and helps manage shame, which can otherwise act as a paralyzing element. The tools provided in the workshop are intended to be applicable to daily life, helping people express ideas with greater security and navigate unforeseen circumstances.
