Viridis and TSX Invest launch regional investment agency

Viridis and TSX Invest have launched the Investment Promotion Agency for Poços de Caldas, Caldas, and the surrounding region. The initiative aims to attract capital across various local economic sectors, with a specific focus on rare earth elements.

José Marques Braga Júnior, executive director of Viridis, stated the company intends to refine rare earth carbonates at a local plant to produce magnets and oxides. The project seeks to build a sustainable rare earth chain incorporating circular economy principles, such as future magnet recycling. The agency will utilize a World Bank methodology to analyze the economy, identify priority sectors, and connect them with potential investors.
