Virtual Market 2026 Summer attracts record 1.54 million attendees

HIKKY has released the official report for ‘Virtual Market 2026 Summer’ (Vket), which saw a record-breaking 1.54 million total attendees. The event, held on the VRChat platform, continues to attract new users, with first-time participants accounting for 24.1% of the total.

Survey results indicate high engagement with brand experiences. Approximately 72.6% of respondents identified exploring corporate booths as the most approachable way to learn about brands, significantly higher than traditional video or television advertising. Furthermore, 84.9% of participants reported an improved impression of brands they interacted with, and 96.2% stated they would prefer a brand they experienced at Vket if faced with similar products or services.

One notable participant, Fujikyu Group, successfully leveraged the event to build long-term connections. Following their debut at Vket, the company’s new virtual community, ‘FUJIQ VIRTUAL PLAZA,’ surpassed 10,000 members on Discord, and approximately 10,000 users registered for their official online reservation service within the 16-day event period.
