Virtuix reports surge in Omni One orders following Meta launch

Virtuix reported its first quarter fiscal 2027 results for the period ending June 30, 2026, highlighting a significant surge in demand for its Omni One systems. Following the launch of Omni One for Meta Quest, new orders increased approximately 150% compared to the previous period and rose 72% year-over-year.

While net sales declined to $0.8 million from $1.0 million—a decrease attributed to the completion of a legacy preorder backlog—gross profit rose 29% to $227,158. Gross margins also expanded from 17% to 30% due to higher system pricing. Despite these gains, the company reported a widened net loss of $7.2 million, driven by an 86% increase in operating expenses.

Virtuix is expanding its footprint across several sectors. In defense, the company is working with the U.S. Marine Corps, the U.S. Air Force, and the Air National Guard. In the enterprise and robotics space, it secured its first Omni One Enterprise sale to Tesla’s Optimus humanoid robot division. Additionally, the company has been selected for NASA’s Moon and Mars Exploration Analog mission and has entered the healthcare sector through a partnership with Sirica Therapeutics.
