Virtune launches HYPE ETP on European exchanges

Virtune has launched a physically backed Exchange-Traded Product (ETP) providing regulated exposure to HYPE, the native token of the Hyperliquid exchange. The product allows investors to gain exposure to the cryptocurrency through conventional brokerage accounts without the need for individual crypto wallets or direct storage.

The Virtune Hyperliquid ETP is listed on several European exchanges, including Nasdaq Stockholm, Nasdaq Helsinki, and Deutsche Börse Xetra. In Warsaw, the product is denominated in Polish złoty. The ETP carries an annual management fee of 0.95%, with assets held by Coinbase Custody and BitGo Europe. Flow Traders serves as the market maker and an authorized participant alongside Virtu Financial Ireland.

The launch coincides with significant trading activity within the Hyperliquid ecosystem. Recent data indicates that Hyperliquid’s perpetual futures trading volume reached approximately $240 billion over a 30-day period ending September 16, outpacing the combined volume of several other major blockchain ecosystems including Arbitrum, Solana, and Ethereum.
