Italian sports clubs begin 2026/2027 preseason preparations
Various Italian sports clubs have officially commenced their preseason preparations and season presentations for the 2026/2027 cycle.
In volleyball, JoyVolley Gioia del Colle has begun physical testing and training under coach Francesco Denora Caporusso for the Serie A2 Credem Banca championship. Other clubs, including Sir Perugia, Innotech Serra Fasano, and Itas Trentino, are also entering their preparatory phases.
In futsal, Marsala Futsal is launching an ambitious project in Serie A2 under new technical lead Peppe Fiorenza, focusing on a connection between the first team and youth sectors.
Basketball teams are also active: Svincolati Milazzo has presented its season under the slogan ‘Una città una squadra’ for the Serie B Interregionale, while Scandone Avellino has scheduled five preseason tests for September. Juvecaserta 2021 will participate in the Memorial Fabrizio Di Flavio tournament in early September.
In football, ASD Pietralacroce and Benevento Next Gen are preparing for their respective campaigns in Prima Categoria, emphasizing continuity and growth. Assisi Calcio has officially presented its roster and management structure with the goal of winning the Promozione championship.
