Virtus sports teams face setbacks in recent matches

Igea Virtus managed to avoid a significant defeat during an away match against Enna. Despite falling behind 2-0, the team led by Giacomo Modica staged a comeback to secure a draw. Modica expressed frustration with the team's lack of clinical finishing and a disorganized week of preparation, noting that while the players showed desire, they failed to capitalize on multiple scoring opportunities.

In a separate sporting event, the Essence Hotel Virtus volleyball team suffered an away loss against Grottazzolina. Coach Marco Bonitta attributed the defeat to the opponent's efficient serving and overall performance. Player Matteo Meschiari also noted that the team struggled with reception and failed to exploit available opportunities, stating that the team must learn from the loss ahead of their upcoming match against Pineto.
