Virtus.pro wins PUBG Esports World Cup 2026 in Paris

The international esports organisation Virtus.pro captured the PUBG: Battlegrounds title at the 2026 Esports World Cup held in Paris. The Croatian‑led roster – featuring Nino "NIXZYEE" Mikec, Luka "Lukarux" Rukavina, Benjamin "Beamija" Steffensen, Timija "curexija" Tenhulu and coached by Jord "ibiza" van Gelder – finished with 159 points, 33 ahead of runner‑up The Vicious, and secured the $650,000 prize pool plus 1,000 club‑championship points.

Mikec was named tournament MVP after posting an average of 1.25 eliminations per match, 302.73 damage and 18:28 average survival time. The victory follows a previous Global Series Circuit win in May and was celebrated by team manager Niki "MaM1c" Mamić. The squad’s next event is scheduled for Riyadh in November.
