Visa and Singapore Tourism Board sign three-year partnership

Visa and the Singapore Tourism Board (STB) have signed a three-year Memorandum of Understanding to enhance Singapore’s appeal as a global travel destination and encourage repeat visits. Under the agreement, Singapore will join the Visa Destinations global travel programme in November 2026, making it the second market in the Asia Pacific region to do so after Thailand.

The partnership focuses on three primary pillars: providing Visa cardholders with exclusive benefits at various attractions, dining, shopping, and nightlife venues; utilizing Visa’s spending data alongside STB’s visitor arrival data to identify high-growth market segments; and executing co-branded marketing campaigns under the Visa Destinations and STB ‘Passion Made Possible’ brands.

Visa data indicates that repeat visitors to Singapore spend approximately four times more than first-time visitors. Key inbound travel corridors identified include Australia, Indonesia, Mainland China, Malaysia, and the United States. The collaboration aims to leverage these insights to drive deeper engagement and tourism growth.
