Visa announces dividend increase and fiscal 2026 financial results
Visa Inc. has announced a 16.4 percent increase in its quarterly dividend, raising the payout to $0.67 per share, which annualizes to $2.68. The announcement coincided with the company’s fiscal 2026 results, which exceeded expectations for both revenue and earnings.
For the fiscal year 2026, Visa reported net revenue of $46 billion, representing a 15 percent increase, while earnings per share rose 16 percent to $13.27. Chief Financial Officer Chris Suh stated that the board intends to return excess free cash flow to shareholders through both dividend increases and share buybacks.
As of late October 2026, Visa shares were trading near $413.59, close to its 52-week high of $417.00. While the dividend yield remains relatively low at approximately 0.66 percent, the company has demonstrated a consistent trend of double-digit dividend growth over the past decade.
