Viseu Diocese announces religious formation events

The Diocese of Viseu is organizing several religious formation events. The Apostolado da Oração de Viseu, part of the Pope's Worldwide Prayer Network, will hold a formation day at Quartel da Paz. Led by Father António Santana, SJ, and Brother José Silva, SJ, the event focuses on prayer spirituality and apostolic mission under the theme ‘Praying is transforming the world’. The day will conclude with an Eucharist celebrated by Bishop António Luciano.

Additionally, the Serviço Diocesano de Acólitos de Viseu (SDAV) will host its second Acolyte Formation Meeting on October 24 at the Igreja de Coração de Jesus. Under the motto ‘Come and See: together we prepare for the coming of the Child’, the gathering aims to deepen the liturgical service and mission of acolytes in preparation for Advent and Christmas.
