Vishal Bhardwaj’s notable cinematic collaborations

Director Vishal Bhardwaj has established a reputation in Indian cinema for distinctive storytelling and impactful actor-director collaborations. His work spans Shakespearean adaptations, dark comedies, and deep dramas.

Notable past collaborations include Shahid Kapoor in ‘Haider’ and ‘Kaminey’, the latter of which is cited as a career turning point for the actor. Bhardwaj also worked with Saif Ali Khan in ‘Omkara’, an adaptation of Shakespeare’s Othello, and Priyanka Chopra in the unconventional ‘7 Khoon Maaf’.
