Vishesh Sharma wins Telangana Golconda Masters

Vishesh Sharma, a 19-year-old golfer, secured his first professional title at the 12th edition of the Telangana Golconda Masters held at the Hyderabad Golf Association. Sharma finished with a total of 21-under 259, securing the win by a single stroke over Noida’s Amardeep Malik, who finished at 20-under 260.

Sharma, playing in his second season on the DP World PGTI, earned Rs 15 lakh for the victory. The win improved his standing from 25th to 14th on the 2026 Order of Merit and guaranteed him a spot in the DP World India Championship.

Amardeep Malik finished as the runner-up, earning Rs 10 lakh. Chandigarh’s Akshay Sharma and Delhi’s Honey Baisoya shared third place at 19-under 261. Akshay Sharma notably matched the course record during the tournament with a 10-under 60 round.
