Vishnupriya Pai recognized by Golden Book of World Records for student stress campaign

Vishnupriya Pai, a 15-year-old Class 10 student from Alva’s Central School in Moodbidri, has been recognized by the Golden Book of World Records for her exam stress awareness campaign.

Between August 24 and September 11, Pai conducted one-hour orientation sessions across 51 schools in the Karnataka districts of Hassan, Kodagu, Bengaluru, Udupi, and Uttara Kannada. Her initiative reached approximately 4,500 students, focusing on topics such as examination anxiety, time management, and effective study techniques.

Pai developed an interest in psychology and counseling in the sixth grade and has spent the last four years completing online courses through the Indian Counselling Services. Unlike traditional programs led by adults, her campaign was designed to allow peers to communicate directly with one another about managing academic pressure through planning and positive approaches.
