Marvel’s VisionQuest premieres on Disney+ to conclude streaming trilogy

Marvel’s new series ‘VisionQuest’ has premiered on Disney+, serving as the final chapter in a trilogy that began with ‘WandaVision’ and continued with ‘Agatha: All Along’. The eight-episode series stars Paul Bettany as White Vision, a version of the character who has had his memories restored but lacks emotional connections to them.

The plot follows Vision as he attempts to rediscover his identity and purpose while hiding from organizations that wish to weaponize him. The narrative involves his interactions with various artificial intelligences within his programming, including J.A.R.V.I.S., F.R.I.D.A.Y., E.D.I.T.H., and the return of Ultron, played by James Spader. During his flight from capture, Vision is accompanied by Thomas Shepherd, a mysterious youth who may be linked to his past family.

Episodes are being released weekly on Disney+. The series explores themes of identity, autonomy, and the complex nature of artificial intelligence within the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
