Marvel reveals ‘VisionQuest’ trailer and release date at D23

Marvel Studios has unveiled the first trailer and poster for ‘VisionQuest’, a new original series set to premiere on Disney+ on October 14, 2026. The announcement was made at the D23 fan event by stars Paul Bettany and James Spader, alongside Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige.

Serving as the conclusion to the trilogy that began with ‘WandaVision’ and continued with ‘Agatha All Along’, the series follows Vision (Bettany) as he navigates a crisis of identity. Having been rebooted and living in hiding to avoid being weaponized, Vision attempts to reconnect with his lost memories and humanity. The narrative explores a psychological and psychedelic journey through his own mind, where he encounters AI personas embedded in his programming, including J.A.R.V.I.S., F.R.I.D.A.Y., E.D.I.T.H., and a hostile Ultron (Spader).

The plot intensifies when a bounty is placed on Vision, forcing him to go on the run with a mysterious boy named Thomas Shepard, who may be the reincarnation of his son, Tommy Maximoff. The series is directed by a team including Terry Matalas, who also serves as showrunner.
