Vismaya Mohanlal to debut in Malayalam thriller 'Thudakkam

Vismaya Mohanlal, the daughter of Malayalam superstar Mohanlal, is set to make her acting debut as Meenu in the family thriller "Thudakkam". The film, directed by Jude Anthany Joseph and produced by Antony Perumbavoor’s Aashirvad Cinemas, released a one‑and‑a‑half minute trailer that shows a peaceful hill‑village life turning tense when intruders attack the home. The movie is scheduled to hit Indian theatres on 7 August.

Ahead of the release, Suchitra Mohanlal, Mohanlal’s wife, presented director Jude Anthany Joseph with a Swiss watch as a token of appreciation for the film’s production. The gesture was shared on Instagram, underscoring the family’s support for Vismaya’s launch.
