Vissel Kobe and FC Machida Zelvia draw in scoreless J1 clash

Vissel Kobe and league leaders FC Machida Zelvia played to a 0-0 draw during their J1 League Matchday 12 encounter at Noevir Stadium Kobe. The result marks the first time this season that Machida has failed to score, snapping their three-game winning streak.

Machida created several opportunities, including efforts from Yuki Soma and Takuma Nishimura, but were repeatedly denied by Kobe goalkeeper Shuichi Gonda, who delivered a standout performance. Kobe's best chance arrived in the 78th minute when Jean Patrick found himself one-on-one with Machida goalkeeper Kosei Tani, but his shot was saved.

The match featured a highly anticipated matchup between prominent Japanese national team strikers Yuya Osako for Kobe and Koki Ogawa for Machida.
